Montes coffee comes from the significant region of Santa Bárbara. Thanks to the unique local climate, the coffee trees take longer to ripen and the fruit develops more sugar. The coffee carries the SHG (Strictly High Grown) designation, which guarantees that the coffee is grown at an altitude of over 1200 m above sea level. That’s how it got the name Montes. It is processed using the washed method. The flavour is dominated by caramel and ripe fruit.
